It was the most frustrating week ever i had. At first, the quote I was given(or just chose by my self) is one relating to something religious. All sins are attempt to fill voids. According to the definition of Oxford dictionaries, Sin means that "An immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law." How deep and sensitive it is. I had no idea how i could deal with this project introducing this quote. Anyway I got started to comprehend the context of this quote literally. I don't know which party of a religion this quote was written for. And I started working with two girls who have a different religions' background. So it was so difficult to discuss the meaning of this quote. In my opinion, I wouldnt make something religious because I realised that it was not good enough time to introduce religious stuff, and so I focus on the words "to fill voids". I interpreted "voids" as emptiness and blind, and it reminds me that some people who worship religions get blinds when something sensitive would ever happen. Then I tried to hit upon an idea that has something to do with the 2 words "emptiness" and "blind".
The first outcome shows the question"Is there anything missing for you?". People have either small or big trouble inside themselves and tell them to disclose the missing pieces. sometimes the missing pieces seems to have something to do with drug, excess of alcohol and food, betrayal or lying. and sometimes these things seem bad for human beings fill emptiness people hold.
However, I coud not find out the interaction between the outcome and the audience. In addition to it, the way to ask people the question was way too egoistic as if it was a leading question. I thought we better off changing the method. and we had to consider the answers that people do not have missing pieces and they are satisfied with their lives.
The problem is that our primary outcome does not interact to the audience. In that we ask people the question: Is there anything missing for you?. and I suspected that this idea itself is something interactive or relates to our quote:All sins are attempt to fill voids. After all we ended up taking a short film that we chose people at random and ask them the developed question:Do you have any desire?. To be absolutely honest, I realised that film art to interact to the audience is quite challenging subject, because when I take a method to an interview on the streets, probably it seem more a leading question, and there is no points creators ignoring the answers which does not apply to appropriate or ideal ones. It is absolutely ridiculous. It is not art anymore. It is nothing. So I have to consider of how I can take a film and an interview, and also how it becomes fair enough
